The sequel is better in that regard though, as it has even more content. Kurohyou: Ry ga Gotoku Shinsh (, lit Black Leopard: Like a Dragon New Chapter), codenamed 'Project K', is a game developed by Syn Sophia (formerly AKI Corporation) and published by Sega exclusively for the Sony PlayStation Portable as a spin-off of Segas Yakuza series.

AND its a full fledged Yakuza experience, on the PSP no less. Tatsuya is a complete cunt early in the game, not likeable at all but he grows as the game goes on, its got a great plot and characters (as one would expect from Yakuza) and for the story/side stuff you might recognise a few characters that pop up! Its got a brilliant combat system that apes the Def Jam games loads (the good Def Jam games, not that POS Icon) and an amazing soundtrack. Though he also mentioned he might do the Kurohyou drama/TV series first.Īnd people totally need to play this game.
Yakuza black panther psp english patch Patch#
There is a chance that KHH works on the second PSP game at some point (I assume on Youtube, doubt he wants to waste the time on another patch that could go unreleased/unfinished). Japan Exclusive Yakuza PSP Game Receives Fan Translation. Not really a negative for Yakuza fans, we now have TWO localisations of the game released (the youtube guide is the more accurate/up to date version though its certainly convenient to play the game itself in English). Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou (J+English Patched) PSP ISO.
Some people (me included) think this is too much of a coincidence and that one of the other people "working" on the patch leaked it. He decides to release a translation guide to the first game on his Youtube channel and as if by magic a translated ISO file leaks the same damn day. Its nowhere near finished with graphical glitches and crashes popping up in places, its basically not particularly stable to play in places. The people working on the patch basically gave up, with his work basically going to waste. So, he was working on this translation and well its been in limbo for years. So the translation itself is done by the super talented Yakuza fan KHHSubs (look him up on Youtube - he has awesome guides for Kenzan, Ishin and a new Kurohoyou 1 story guide that he just started uploading in the new year). This translation patch has some interesting history behind it:
